Working on the "Oasis in the City" project was both challenging and exciting. The objective of the project was to renovate and elevate the ambiance between two major entry points of a shopping mall, creating a tropical mood that would signify an oasis in the city. Our main goal was to create an inviting and calming atmosphere that would make people feel relaxed and rejuvenated as they entered the mall. The outcome was a beautiful, inviting, and calming space that made people feel like they had entered an oasis in the midst of a busy city.
One of the most thrilling aspects of this project was our ability to incorporate the essence of tropical nature into the space in a modern and minimalist way. We aimed to create a contemporary and sophisticated oasis that still evoked the feeling of a tropical paradise. To achieve this, we used a minimal yet impactful amount of greenery throughout the space, providing a nod to the tropical concept while maintaining a modern design aesthetic.
The waiting area was one part of the space where this concept truly shone. The area not only served as a relaxing spot for visitors but also as a perfect photo backdrop for those looking to capture a moment within the oasis. We carefully chose a mix of tropical plants for the backdrop, selecting those with unique shapes and colors to create a visually stunning focal point in the space. Visitors have been quick to snap photos and share them on social media, creating a buzz around the oasis and bringing attention to the mall.
