The Interior design concept of SA SHANGHAI was to create an immersive Experience Center that would present our client's construction materials in a manner that was both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The integration of individualized spaces and a collective design approach, coupled with the selection of unconventional materials and colors, ensured the creation of a one-of-a-kind experience. The final design delivered a dynamic and unexpected ambiance, elevating the Experience Center above traditional showrooms within the industry.

To create a cohesive and harmonious space, divided the space into multiple “caves” and designed each cave or space to showcase a product family individually while maintaining a collective design approach. The plan and sectional relationship played a critical role in defining the gallery-like approach that we aimed to achieve.

Furthermore, to make the Experience Center unique and memorable, we opted for a diverse selection of colors, materials, textures, and hardware. This decision was based on the objective to break the traditional norms and expectations associated with construction material showrooms. The design composition ensured that the Experience Center offered a distinctive and exciting ambiance, leaving a lasting impression on customers.
